Decades of controversy over dams and the declining fish population has brought nothing to fore that would be satisfactory to everyone. There is a real solution. Unlike the Corps of Engineers "fish ladder" which has proven unsucessful, there is a design that will allow fish to traverse upstream and downstream in a "natural" river flow environment. Can be installed on any dam,any size. No need for removing or bypassing dams.
It is called: Innovative Fish Transfer
This could make the power companies happy and those who want the wild Salmon and other fish population to increase in our rivers where dams have restricted and decreased the fish population. SAVE ENDANGERED SPECIES,
SAVE THE SPORT FISHING INDUSTRIES, SAVE THE DAMS.
This design was 20 years in the making by an avid fisherman and environmentalist. This technologically, innovative invention is available and the owner of this invention will relinquish all rights and ownership to a buyer. A great desire by the inventor is for someone to use this design if only on
one (river) dam, to be in operation and have the results of this "Fish Transfer" known to
all who have been in controversy all these years, then maybe this design would get installed on other rivers/dams and possibly be the end of this controversy.
