(East Pond Enterprises, Romeo, MI)- A Michigan father/daughter team has built a fundraising business that utilizes 30 gallon trash bags with a "Drugs Are Trash" logo for the purpose of assisting schools, churches and other organizations with their fundraising needs. Kristen Zochowski, owner of East Pond Enterprises , explained that East Pond was built on a desire to help the local community and surrounding areas. "Schools and other organizations have their choice of a number of colors for the bags and logo, they can choose to either have the "Drugs Are Trash" logo or have their own logo printed on each bag," Zochowski said.
East Pond Enterprises recently got involved with the BRW Skate Park efforts in order to help them meet their goal of $80,000. The Skate Park group was able to sell 2,000 bags in less than a week.

"Growing up in a small community and being a business owner, I wanted to find a way to give back to the surrounding communities and our children", Chester Zochowski said.
